How do I cancel an order?

  1. You can cancel your order online before the product has been shipped. Your entire order amount will be refunded. You may drop an email to us or call us. Please cancel within 12 hours of placing the order and before dispatch as we normally dispatch within 24 hours of placing the order.
  2. In case the item you have ordered has been shipped but has not yet been delivered to you, you may still cancel the order online. Your refund will be processed once we receive the originally ordered item back from the courier. In this case the amount will be refunded to your Discounto Account. The amount can be used to shopping in future only at www.discounto.in
  3. Unfortunately, an order cannot be cancelled once the item has been delivered to you. However, you can always return the product.
  4. Reward poinst used while placing the order will also be refunded to your Discounto Account.

In order to cancel an item in your order:

    **Note: For COD orders please cancel before we dispatch as COD charges are very high. We verify all COD order before dispatching, so you may cancel at that time.

How long it takes to process a cancellation request?

Once you request the cancellation of item(s) in your order, it will take us a maximum of 1-2 business days to cancel the order and initiate a refund. You will be notified of the same by email.

If the Order Status shows the item(s) in your order as 'Shipped', we will process your cancellation request directly with our logistics partner. Your refund will be processed soon after we receive the cancelled items back from the courier.

In case you want refund in your Discounto Account. The refunded amount will be made available immediately.

However, if you opt for having the money transferred back to the source of transaction, it may take up to 7-10 business days for the respective banks to process the refund. Please get in touch with the banks directly in case of any delays post confirmation of cancellation/refund by Discounto.

What are the modes of refund available after cancellation?

In order to confirm cancellation of item(s) in your order, you need to indicate your refund preference.

You may always call us or request for help with an issue by using Contact Us form.

You may cancel an order from your account before it is shipped. Please note that if the item is made-to-measure you may only be able to cancel the order before it is shipped provided that the product hasn’t been altered or made yet. If you receive an item and wish to return it for any reason you must inform the seller in writing within 10 days of receiving the item.

You may also return any item to the Seller within 10 days if the item becomes faulty.

The Seller will then provide you instructions on how to return your item and once your item is received back, they will process your refund through Paypal. Return postage is your responsibility unless the item is incorrect or faulty, in which case the Seller will refund the return postage. If you cancel your contract under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 any standard shipping charges that you have paid to receive your purchase will be included as part of your refund.

Please note that the Seller may refuse a refund if the garment has been made according to your precise measurements ie) made-to-measure. The items you return must be unworn and in their original condition save for your right to inspect the goods and try on the garments. It is your responsibility to ensure that you package the returned goods adequately so that it arrives back to the Seller undamaged.



Safety Policy

We understand that our buyer wish to get private and safe deliveries. Steps taken for your privacy:

  • Discreet Packaging of the product in an Envelope or Box.
  • No Invoice attached to the Outer Cover. However, some states sale tax laws have mandated to attach required forms and invoices on the outside. In such states, we will abide by the law and will attach the invoice on outside along with the required state forms.
  • Use of best in the Industry Courier companies like FirstFlight, Aramex, eCom Express, DTDC, Bluedart, Indian Post (only for remote areas) etc.
  • Well Sealed with No product Description on the outer cover. So no one other than the person who opens it may know what is inside the parcel. Details mentioned in the point two may be applicable.
  • Option for  Self Pickup from the Courier office near you. For the Customers not willing to receive parcel at their door, We may deliver to the nearest Courier company office for Self collection.
  • When you shop from Discounto Originals and select to pay online. We transfer you to a secured online transaction system under our SSL certified server where all your data is protected from any malicious hack and also we make sure that when we tranfer to your banking, you share your data only with your bank and not us or any other third-part. Thus, fool proof secure transaction can be made and you get amazing Discounto products delivered.



Returns Policy

We understand that in rare cases you may not like what you bought, face fitting/sizing issues or would like to exchange what you bought with some other product from us. For this:

  • Pack the product(s) properly and return it to our specified address on Contact us page. Make sure it is not used but just tried and must be in resell-able condition.
  • Now Login to your account and go to the order summary page. Please select the order and click on the Returns Icon. Now create a return request by filling in the return form or you may call us on +91 8884.937.263 to open a returns request from our end. Please note that we will need your order number and product item code to open a returns request.
  • Once you have opened a returns request, make sure it is returned within 15 days from the receipt of the products at your address.
  • In case of Size issues, we'll resend you a large or small size as required on receipt of the returned parcel, if available.
  • In case of damaged product from our end, we'll exchange it with a new one but only if either customer mail us pictures of damaged/defective product on [email protected] or after receiving the returning product back in our warehouse.
  • In special cases of non availability of the product, we will offer Refund for the Product to your Discounto member account as a Gift Certificate so you may redeem it in your next purchase.
  • Please note that Cash refund to bank account or refund by cheque is only offered if we are unable to fulfill an order made by the customer or if we lack in fulfilling customer need. This usually depends on different cases and it can be discussed with the customer as applied.


*Note: The courier charges are refunded in special scenarios only:

  1. if the product is defective.
  2. if wrong product is dispatched from our warehouse.
  3. we will refund maximum of Rs.70/- courier charges for any of the cases mentioned above. Under no other circumstances the courier charges will be refunded.
  4. reverse pickup is available only in few select cities, which will be informed by the customer care representative after confirmation from the logistics partner. Reverse pickup is at the sole discretion of the courier company, so we may request you to courier the products back.
